Bench Show: October Fest

Floral Design
Class I: Gourd-eous
An arrangement incorporating gourds as a container or major design component. Fresh and dried plant material may be used. Underlays permitted but not required. To be viewed from three sides.
Class II: Autumn is My Favorite Color
A medium sized arrangement in a container of your choice with maximum height and width of 18″. Underlay and accessories are permitted but not required. Dried plant material is permitted; however, the majority of stems must be from live plants. To be viewed from three sides.


A member may enter up to three specimens in each class. Each entry must be a different species or cultivar. Foliage must be attached.

Class I: Flowers: Single Stem

A: Dahlia
B: Aster
C: Chrysanthemum
D: Rose
E: Other (Annual, Perennial, Grass)
Class II: Branches: Not to exceed 30 inches from lip of vase to tip
A: Berried Branch
B: Coned Branch
Class III: Edible From Your Garden
A: A single vegetable presented on white paper plate
B: Multiple vegetables presented in basket C: Herbs presented in a vase.
