Conservation Workshop: Milkweed Project

Learn all about Milkweed!  Why is it important in our garden? How can I grow milkweed at home?  All your questions and answers will be covered at this 4 pm workshop. Open to all members – those that attend this virtual meeting will go home with their milkweed seeds all planted and ready to grow! Milkweed seeds provided, you just need to bring an empty, clear, soda bottle.  One hour time frame.

See below all that we will cover:

  • Starting a Pollinator Pathway in your own home garden, patio, window or terrace
  • 4 PDF files emailed to each participant including detailed instructions, GCA Pollinator lists
  • Seed packet (20 seeds) given to all workshop participants
  • Workshop to be shared as Conservation bench show for February 10 (seedlings to be planted by Feb. 1!)

Please bring your own soda bottle (or bottles!)
